Ice Takes Out Gutters with Metal Roof

 

Heavy snow took took out the gutters in the back of our house.  And the ice breaks in the front.  Fun stuff with a metal roof.

We had to replace the roof for a second time in 12 years, so we went with a metal roof.  I took videos, probably should have taken photos too.  But here it is...  I was later to experience what it's like to have a ton of snow/ice come barreling off of a metal roof.

Clearing Snow Off of the Roof

 

February 2009, we got a ton of snow, so I hired some roofers to clear it off.  Later this year we put on a metal roof.  Which eliminated the problem of heavy snow on the roof, and created another (snow coming off the roof).
