Kitchen Remodel: Cabinet Installation Part II

The second day of kitchen cabinet installation went well. For the most part the cabinets are installed (the have to return one more time for some minor finish details). The installers really had to work on a couple of spots to get the cabinets to look right (as it would seem, most houses do not have perfectly square and straight walls). Here's some photos of the kitchen now. Note the crown molding is installed too.

I like the door profile you have chosen - simple, but stylish as well (...with no bolection molding ...I've heard it called "shaker" style down here).

Also, I like your glazing bars on windows & doors. (....called Colonial down here in Oz.)

Thanks. We've heard people here call it "shaker" as well...and some even call it "mission" though I'm not sure about the "mission" part (perhaps they said that because we went with the quartersawn oak).

I took a quick look at your blog and I'm bookmarking it...wow. That's a great house.
